I'm an Information Management major working toward a career in data engineering. I like taking messy, scattered data and moulding it into something more functional. Most of what I know outside the classroom comes from side projects, where I get to pick the tools myself and break things safely.
Outside of that, I'm into rocketry. It scratches a similar itch to data work: both reward the kind of systems-thinking where every part has to hold together, or the whole thing comes apart. I hold NAR membership, and dabble very lightly in embedded systems programming for rocketry components.
